Bryan Kinney has helped me several times with custom painting on my Indian motorcycles. Although we are on the east coast, I found that he was easy to work with, his prices were more than fair, the stuff was packed well for the journey across country and I was very pleased with the quality of the paint finish. I would not hesitate to use Bryan of K C Customs for any type of auto body or collision or insurance work that you might need to have done. He is an excellent source for factory Indian motorcycle paint finishes. |

As you can see from my photo KC Customs has flamed my Prius. In fact this is the second Prius, Bryan and the gang have done for me. In a nation of sheep I believe you must stand out. This is my contribution for standing out. Back to the review. KC Customs did a great job! The quality of work is outstanding. As I said this is the second flame job they have done for me. The first one was in excellent shape after 5 years of parking outside 24/7. The care they take in the preparation is evident if a custom paint job looks just as good after 5 years. the only reason I had them do another one was my first Prius was stopped on the freeway and the person behind me didn't. So a new car and a new paint job to make it special again. The crew at KC Customs took the car apart to prepare it for paint. Bumbers off, windows out, door handles off, lights and sensors off, and it shows in how well the car looks now. The detailing of the flames was outstanding, rising up from the front bumper and cascading up through the "A" pillars and back across the doors. Wow, what an effect! I give this shop the highest rating possible because i have not been disappointed.... twice. I am considering flaming my 1945 Farmall "A". It blows the doors off a Deere anyway. |

KC Customs comes across as a custom paint shop for specialty cars, trucks and motorcycles, but what few people know is that they are a first rate collision repair shop as well. Having three kids reach driving age, I've had my share of accidents and problems that Bryan Kinney and his crew have fixed on a level of professionalism that the big places can only hope to have. Tucked behind a used car lot on Santa Rosa Avenue, KC Customs is a locals secret that does the best body work of any shop in the bay area. They work with all insurance that I'm aware of, and they always keep me coming back for more. If you want a newer car repaired, or an older classic car fully restored, these guys are the best. Don't just be a number at one of the bigger places. For fast professional service and the best quality work you can ever imagine having, do yourself a favor and contact KC Customs. |

Even though I live in Sacramento, I have known of Bryan Kinney and KC Customs for at least 10 years. As an avid gearhead, I have known of the quality and detail that KC Customs puts into their custom paint work as seen in countless magazines and by the paint work that several close friends of mine all over the country currently sport on everything from golf carts to pickup trucks.
I had never needed any collision repair work until recently. My very independant; but elderly 84 year old Mom was in a minor traffic accident while driving her beloved "BETSY", a pristine 1990 Honda Accord with only 100k or so on the clock. As with any 20 year old car with any damage, the insurance company immediately totalled it.
For some reason it had been towed to a local GM dealers body shop here in Sacramento where everyone was trying to low-ball Mom into trying to sell off her beloved car.
Mom wanted nothing of it as she lives on $1100 a month and just wanted her BETSY back as she uses it to go to worship and to the grocery store.
I contacted Bryan at KC Customs and explained the situation, he requested and I emailed him pics of the damage and by the next day I felt no hesitation to rent a UHaul trailer and tow the car from the GM dealership 110 miles away to KC Customs collision repair facility.
KC Customs negotiated with the insurance company to make sure Mom got everything she had coming and then went to work.
Either Bryan or someone from the collision center either called or emailed me daily to report progress, even to report set backs due to replacement parts vendors had sent him that did not meet the high standards they demand.
The job was done in a very timely matter, in fact I was called to come pick up the car a few days early.
The long and short of it is that Bryan and the staff at KC Customs collision center helped Mom get her beloved "BETSY" back instead of that horrid rental car.
Although I live 110 miles away, KC Customs is the only collision center and custom paint shop I could ever reccomend
